We had a great time, fun puzzles, accessible and everyone was able to participate (children aged 11 and 14 + 1 adult) in the treasure adventure. Very warm welcome, don't hesitate, we will not fail to come back to discover other experiences!

I played Hotel and Pirates straight away. Two superb rooms! well paced and varied. Everything is automatic but the game master is still there to help us (we still needed it a little ^^), thank you very much!

Excellent family time! We were absorbed by the puzzles, the setting, the atmosphere and the sounds. A big plus for the more than friendly staff.

Big Parisian escape player. I stopped counting but I must have at least fifty under my belt. I am not trying to make an authoritative argument but rather to reflect my lived experience. So I wouldn't beat myself up, Hotel Horror Story is the worst escape I've done to date, and yet I started escapes back in the early days with rooms full of padlocks, very poor and the absence of a credible story. €29 per person is simply a steal, run away. Edit in response to the owner who chooses to pass me off as an acorn: The way you respond to your cash cows, uh sorry I meant customers and to the constructive criticism that my friends took the time to write and the very absence of questioning on your part says enough about the consideration that you have for them. It is indeed very hard to enjoy an escape game when you ask one member of the group to do nothing in the dark or another to kill the group at the end of the game. Or even when I find myself digging through a hole in a wall when it's just the papier-mâché decoration that's exploded, or when I spend 10 minutes fiddling with "zippers" in all directions in a formwork in the wall which will ultimately be of no use. Or better, when I solve the end puzzle to restart the boiler, the power goes out then a video starts indicating that we have fallen into a trap, that my team legitimately yells at me for having fallen into the trap and then I point out to them that no it also says that we are being promoted to the FBI. That we leave the room without really understanding whether we are dead or victorious and that the Game Master is unable to give me the answer. “What message did you get on the TV” is not an acceptable response from an escape that takes care of and follows its customers during the game. Pressed by the hubbub of the team present in the room we had just left and the express request to put the objects back in their place, we had the feeling of being nothing but cattle, this is the first time I have seen that in an escape game. Indeed, for all this and I forget some, it is difficult to play the game when for the same price we are entitled to a premium experience with drinks or sweets service to welcome us to Paris. We informed you of these elements at the end of the game, our overall incomprehension, Pierre going so far as to tell you at the debriefing that nothing saved you from "his" last place in the ranking. We were honest, however like the civilized people that we are we tried not to be too annoying, mean or vindictive, indeed we could have made a scene and asked for a refund but that is not our style. Finally, I will add that responding to my friend that we knowingly reserved a temporary room suggests that since it is a temporary room, everything is permitted. Well no !

Team of 4 fairly varied players, including beginners and three players with between 10 and 60 escape games under their belt in Lille, Paris and Lyon. In my escape research, I value three elements: an immersive atmosphere, stimulating puzzles and captivating settings to escape everyday life. Unfortunately, Qwest's Hotel Horror Story room fails to deliver these elements properly. Let's talk particularly about the puzzles, the delicate point of an escape experience. Despite our shared experience in numerous escapes, we have never been so requested by our Game Master (GM). We found the puzzles tedious, poorly arranged and sometimes complicated by the addition of elements making certain situations more incomprehensible than difficult. For us, there is a lack of consistency between our actions and the unlockings, such as a phone unlocking an elevator, which seems implausible. In terms of the atmosphere, we weren't won over either. We found the rooms ordinary, without in-depth detail on the sets or props. Holes and damage were visible in the room, and the lack of maintenance was evident, even for a temporary room. The fact that the next team was in the room just before us (we could hear them very clearly with Placoplâtre walls) is unprecedented in an escape game. This added pressure to us, not because of time, which is not a constraint at Qwest, but because of the team that sticks to our backs... Note also an unusual practice: not moving an object from one room to another... In addition, each participant has a notebook to avoid adding accessories to the game. An element of "roleplay" is imposed on the players where the One of the roles is to remain inactive in the dark: SU-PER. The experiment ended with a video with Lorem Ipsum clearly visible, leaving the whole team in doubt as to our vital status. Response from the person who “debriefs” us outside the room because other players are in it (another new thing): I don’t know, I’m not your GM…
